My story begins here….

Hi and thanks for checking out  my blog!!

Here is a little about me:

My name is Tiffany Rose Gambill, and I’m 34 years old. I live in Massachusetts, USA.

When I was 15, I was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA), a rare, in-currable neuromuscular disorder that is slowly weakening ALL of my muscles. I use a wheelchair full time, and in 2012 I was bit hard by the travel bug!

My blogs will  show you, disabled or not, that you CAN travel the world and participate in accessible adventures and eat vegan while traveling!

A little about my disability -  FA affects all  of my muscles, from head to toe. My speech is my biggest insecurity because it’s very slurred and very slow.

I work out at the gym, go to physical therapy, and use a stander to keep my muscles as good as they will be right now. FA is progressive, meaning it gets worse with time. It is very frustrating and very cruel.

Another symptom is cardiomyopathy, which I have, a heart condition that is the leading cause of death for those who have FA. Two years ago I volunteered to be the first FA patient to get gene therapy for cardiomyopathy with hopes to cure cardiomyopathy in Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Typing is very hard for me. I am slow, and I can’t do speech to text, because it never understands me. Be patient with me!

I have a TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook all showing my travels to followers - follow me!  Also read articles about me or articles I have been quoted in on As Seen In.

Whether I am traveling by plane, train, subway, bus, taxi or a van, I will talk about accessibility. Accessible  travel adventure and vegan eats.

 Happy Travels,
